[ It's difficult, at first. Memories of the island and Lucien in one are wearing on Molly's mind, but screaming into Fjord's chest for a while and then self-medicating with drinks seems to have quelled it a little bit. It's still difficult to think about what the bastard had done, though. Killed Caleb and Nott, nearly killed Jester.

Them calling out to him over and over and him nearly useless in his attempts to reach the surface.

At least he managed at the end, and the scar splitting him from sternum to skull is proof of that. It's ugly, but it's also a statement of him taking back his life. Just like the scar from Lorenzo is.

Now all Molly wants is to take back his life and live it better this time. No running towards the eventually wall. He has a future now, full of experiences and exploration. A family, a lover, a ship to eventually set sail on and a road trip of all that he has missed.

Right now he can be found in the Clay's temple, still spending some time in the Blooming Grove while waiting for everyone else to arrive as well. If the fact that he got here with Fjord was anything to go by, Caleb should have been next... but it was Jester instead. Maybe the Island let them go randomly. ]

[ So far the road trip with Fjord has been great. They've gotten into all kinds of trouble, fought some bandits and seen new places. It was mostly just Empire so far as they made their way towards the Coast, taking the longer scenic route. They could have teleported, but this was part of the fun.

When they arrive in Hupperdook once more, they say hi to Kiri and the Schuster family again before Molly sets off to just throw himself into the nighttime celebrations that he loved so much last time they were here. They could even use those tokens for winning the drinking game back then, and it's spent on interesting new drinks. (One shot almost tasted like oil. In fact, it might just have been oil to fuck with them.)

When they finally reach the inn, Molly's tipsy and covered with the fake flowers the gnomes sold, a burnt-out sparkler still in his hand as they open the door.
